GENERAL SUMMARY:


The UX Designer is a full-time position at Laureate Honduras in Tegucigalpa.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Creates high quality designs, interfaces and innovative, engaging prototypes.

  • Taking the lead on projects and confidently presenting concepts to stakeholders and senior management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:



  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • 3-5 years of experience in UX and interaction Design

  • 100% Bilingual (English – Spanish).

  • Basic understanding of user journeys, user experience and user-centered design


  • Visual portfolio showing proficiency in implementing effective, intuitive designs withstrong understanding of colors, site structure, navigation and UI principles.

  • Working knowledge of wire framing & design tools like Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator and others visual tools.

  • Knowledge of current web standards and best practices for semantic markup using latest technologies like HTML5 and CSS3 is a plus but not required.

  • Knowledge of mobile optimized interfaces and Responsive Web Design across browsers and devices is a plus but not required.
