Position Summary:The Omni Channel OMS Analyst will oversee system administration from within the OMNI Channel OMS. The Analyst must be proficient in managing OMS configuration settings, identifying system opportunities and streamlining processes within an Omni Channel OMS environment. They will be responsible for understanding business rules for inventory movement and order fulfillment (in and out of the system) are working as expected. The Analyst will also be expected to identify, analyze and troubleshoot issues, with a focus on resolution and communicate progress to his/her leader and stakeholders.
This position requires in-depth knowledge of Omni-channel retail business processes and systems, especially as they relate to Order Management and Store Operations. This position will be a liaison between business partners and IT.
The Analyst will be responsible for communicating and prioritizing business requirements, providing input on the OMS business strategy, as well as owning functional deliverables for the Direct to Consumer (DTC) Order Management System and Store Operations.
The Analyst will play a vital role in supporting the future of Eileen Fisher’s global DTC platform for Omni channel order management and Store Operations.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business partners to develop, refine and execute a cohesive product strategy and roadmap to deliver high performance features and functionality for OMS/Stores.
Facilitate constant improvement to the OMS/Store capabilities by benchmarking user experience with industry best practices and develop scorecards and metrics to track progress.
Manage configuration changes for OMS (Store location, Safety Stocks, Order Volumes, Sourcing Rules, etc).
Manage day-to-day OMS order flow including exceptions.
Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications to key stakeholders so that challenges and solutions are documented and understood.
Understand the intricacies of the OMS/store functionality/limitations in order to continually enhance the consumer experience.
Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is clear to IT Team.
Review system design plans with vendors, internal teams and consultants for reasonableness and fit within the business requirements.
Partner with IT Team to develop QA test strategy/plans. Coordinate and manage the execution of test cases and perform user acceptance with the business users.
Provide training to end users, include developing metrics for success, pilot programs and deployment phases.
Research and address process issues, identify root cause, and implement process improvements.
Monitor and report on stores compliance/SLA concerns. Communicate with stores regarding order fulfillment issues and assist in creating remediation plans.
Manage open tickets, request user changes, report on status of issues and bring to resolution.
Assist with researching and correcting inventory imbalances across multiple business systems.
Perform analysis of the business goals, objectives and needs of the general business environment for all business channels related to Omni channel functionality.
Analyze and document business processes and performance metrics and to identify improvement opportunities.
Provide suggestions for system optimization and enhancements to the OMS system and share operational insights with business leaders.
Meet with business partners, project managers, and vendor partners to assess project scope and vision, set system goals, identify and resolve system issues, and suggest prioritization of build items
Train internal employees on changes to business practices, processes or procedures.
Perform special projects upon request.
