The Role

The Honest Company is seeking a Senior Manager, Sales Strategy & Planning to join our dynamic Retail Sales team! The Senior Manager, Sales Strategy & Planning will develop, plan, execute and communicate a product strategy and assortment for our Baby category, and will work closely with internal and external cross-functional partners to deliver on company goals and objectives.

What you’ll do:

  • Own sales planning and partner with key stakeholders on product strategy development for our Baby category

  • Conduct analysis, research, planning, and forecasting to make recommendations on how to grow revenue and maximize sales opportunities in Baby for our major accounts

  • Review actual sales performance on a weekly/monthly basis

  • Collaborate with cross-functional team on replenishment to optimize sales and inventory and assist in presenting forecasted sales and inventory plans

  • Develop program assortment plans based on store levels, planned sales volume, visual presentation guidelines and seasonal variances

  • Regularly review sales and inventory against financial goals and recommend changes to future order quantities, deliveries, pricing or markdown strategies as needed

  • Develop plans that meet or exceed sales, gross margin and inventory turn targets

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 6+ years of experience in account management, sales, customer marketing, or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience in sales planning or category management for a consumers packaged goods company

  • Knowledge of syndicated data sources including IRI, Nielsen, and SPINS

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Understanding of the Retail environment and broker resources

  • Ability to travel up to 20% for customer/market visits, trade shows and sales meetings
