We are looking for a hands-on and highly motivated HR & People and Culture Manager to join our Village and contribute to our purpose of helping people achieve their dreams. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a world-class organizational culture that motivates and inspires its greatest asset, our people. 

As Silver Chef’s HR & People and Culture Manager, you will wear a variety of hats consulting with internal teams on their current needs, working with the Leadership Team to anticipate future opportunities for developing our culture, and working with the global People and Culture team to think outside-of-the-box on new, innovative ways to develop and engage our people.

You will be responsible for:

  1. Delivering generalist HR partnering support across the full employee life cycle and providing specialist people management advice and coaching, including talent acquisition, training and development, remuneration and benefits, and employee relations case management

  2. Contributing to the development and implementation of organisation wide strategic initiatives to build team capability.

  3. Working as part of a global People and Culture team to drive best practice and collaborate on the transformation of the function, including project work as required.



  • You have a Bachelors degree in a relevant field and appropriate HR certifications. CPHR designation is an asset.

  • You have 3-5 years of progressive HR experience. You think strategically but also deliver on tactical and operational issues.

  • You have a solid understanding of relevant employment legislation

  • You have strong communication skills; you’re a natural people person with great interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence, and you will use this to work with internal team leaders, and external candidates

  • You have been a valued business partner to leaders across a variety of functional areas and have demonstrated a capability to cultivate effective relationships with all departments and levels of the organization

  • You understand organizational scale in high growth companies
