Description

We’re looking for a Recruiting Coordinator help bring the very best talent to Warby Parker. Working alongside the rest of recruiting and talent team, you’ll help drive talent objectives and recruiting processes across all departments in order to meet our ambitious hiring goals. You’ll learn the ins and outs of a high-functioning recruiting process and all about how we build strong teams. You’ll be working a wide range of teams here (from finance to design to customer experience) and making an impact across the company through the relationships you build both internally and externally. Sound like your cup of tea (or coffee, or whatever you drink)? Keep reading!

What you’ll do:

  • Provide the best possible experience for all interviewees (and look for ways to continually improve our candidate experiences)

  • Coordinate and schedule all interviews, hiring manager circle-ups, candidate travel itineraries, and other recruiting efforts

  • Use tools like LinkedIn and Entelo to identify qualified prospects, conduct outreach to prospective candidates, and schedule phone interviews

  • Keep track of job boards where we have open job slots and actively post open roles

  • Upkeep our applicant tracking system, manage job description templates, and continually look for ways to improve our recruiting process

  • Create a system to keep track of future-opportunities candidates

  • From time to time, review résumés and applications and make candidate recommendations

  • Help out with offer-letter paperwork when needed (and other recruiting-team tickets from our HR system)

  • Attend and help organize industry events that help get the Warby Parker name out there

Who you are:

  • Able to work at a lightning-fast pace (recruiting for a company growing this quickly requires a bias toward action)

  • Solution-oriented, forward-thinking, and able to anticipate both candidate and hiring-team needs

  • A true brand ambassador who loves telling people about Warby Parker

  • An organizational powerhouse (you have proven experience thriving in an environment where you juggled plenty of responsibilities)

  • Super comfortable in a people-focused role (you interact naturally with others and can communicate with anyone)

  • Comfortable prioritizing your work (with clear direction from the team)

  • An unfailing follow-upper who can push people for feedback and do what’s necessary to move the recruiting process forward

  • A stickler for process (after all, you’ll be driving ours)

Extra Credit:

  • Experience in the recruiting industry

  • Experience juggling schedules and calendars for multiple people

  • Experience sourcing and identifying prospective candidates for job opportunities

About us:

Warby Parker was founded in 2010 with a lofty objective: to offer designer eyewear at a revolutionary price while leading the way for socially conscious businesses. By circumventing traditional channels and designing our frames in house, we’re able to offer insanely high-quality eyewear at decidedly non-insane prices (i.e., from $95 with prescription lenses—a fraction of the going price!).

In the last eight years, we’ve grown to over 60 retail locations in the U.S. and Canada, opened our first optical lab in upstate New York, and launched two of our own iOS apps. And for three years running, Fast Company has named us one of the world’s most innovative companies.

We also hold ourselves to the highest standards of social and environmental responsibility. This means lots of different things, like operating carbon-neutrally and distributing a pair of glasses to someone in need for every pair we sell. (We’re big believers that businesses can scale and be profitable while doing good in the world.)

Of course, all work and no play makes an extremely dull office, and no one likes an extremely dull office. (We sure don’t.) As an employee at Warby Parker, you can look forward to company outings, guest speakers, volunteering opportunities, and other brain- (and/or taste-bud-) stimulating activities. It also doesn’t hurt that our team is just great company.

Some benefits and perks of working at Warby Parker:

  • Health, vision, and dental insurance

  • Flexible “My Time” vacation policy

  • Retirement savings plan with a company match

  • Parental leave (non-birthing parents included)

  • Cell phone plan reimbursement

  • A health-and-wellness stipend

  • Free eyewear (plus discounts for friends and family)

  • And more (just ask!)
