We’re Upstreet Craft Brewery, in business for almost three years and a leader in the community of Charlottetown. Now we’re looking for two new taproom managers who have a love for Craft Beer, one for our Upstreet headquarters and another for our new location in downtown Charlottetown, Craft Beer Corner.


Upstreet Taproom Manager - Craft Beer Corner Manager


As part of the management team, both positions will oversee day-to-day activities of our Taproom and Craft Beer Corner, while leading the way for us to achieve our long-term business goals.


You’ll be responsible for daily restaurant operations, managing community engagement events, recruitment, training of staff, ordering inventory and of course serving customers.


Our best managers are driven and innovative. They always go above and beyond and don't wait for customers to come to them.  They increase our exposure by networking, getting involved in community events and brainstorming new ways for the business to meet the needs of the community.


You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have:


People skills – you’re a strong communicator not only with staff but also with customers. You’re personable, friendly, and love to get to know customers.


Creativity – you can come up with innovative solutions to problems that arise.


Teamwork skills – you believe in supporting your staff and will jump in whenever there is a demand.


Financial skills – you can manage the daily financial operations of the restaurant. You’re accounting, and budgeting skills are extraordinary.


Working at Upstreet and Craft Beer Corner

This is a full-time permanent position working 40-45 hours a week Monday to Sunday with weekends and evenings. We offer an attractive hourly wage that is commensurate with experience, a full benefits package, and vacation.

  • Strong knowledge of craft beer

  • Experience managing and leading staff

  • Experience in customer service

  • Experience with accounting and budgeting skills – meeting all budgetary costs of goods and selling

  • Experience in a food and beverage background is an asset

  • College Diploma or University Degree is an asset
