Marketing Automation Consultant: Pardot Consultant

Our work with clients combines technical expertise with hands-on understanding of customer nurturing. Success in this role requires knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem and in particular, Pardot. The most successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to lead organizations through a journey where they will help facilitate and improve their business processes and communications methods within Pardot.

This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work with a number of projects at once. All projects are client-facing and as a result, communication skills and a genuine interest in helping people is very important. The ability to collaborate with peers and clients while building consensus is also critical for success in this position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Set up, integrate, and customize Pardot to client specifications

  • Set up and customize marketing funnels, prospect segments, lead scoring/grading, nurture paths, and reporting, per client specifications

  • Support the generation and implementation of test strategies to drive and convert qualified traffic

  • Enhance Pardot usage through lead qualification and automation of business practice

  • Basic data migration within the data management capabilities of the platform

  • Fundamental system analysis, business analysis & project management

  • Provide training and documentation for new and existing users


Desired Experience and Skills

  • Pardot Specialist certification required, Pardot Consultant preferred

  • Familiarity with Salesforce Sales Cloud

  • Salesforce Administrator certification preferred

  • Proven client relationship management

  • Proven ability to implement strategies and best practices for outbound and inbound marketing, content marketing, lead scoring, lead nurturing and data hygiene.

  • Familiarity with marketing strategy

  • Familiarity with Salesforce and/or Pardot for the nonprofit sector preferred

  • This is a part-time contracted 1099 position.
