SPUD.CA is looking for a full-time, permanent Senior Email Marketing Specialist This position is based out of our Vancouver head office (1660 E Hastings Street) and will report into the Director of Digital Marketing.


This is the perfect opportunity for an emerging digital marketing superstar who is looking to apply their skills, and learn and develop within a growing e-commerce company. Plus- you will receive 20% off of all our cool, local products!



What you’ll do

  • Lead email marketing and automation efforts, including strategy, team management (one direct report), and execution.

  • Produce, measure, and optimize email marketing for three brands:, Be Fresh, and Blush Lane Organic Market.

  • Improve all areas of email marketing, including campaign, lifecycle, transactional, and triggered emails.

  • Optimize email marketing efforts for revenue, growth, and customer experience, while having a strong regard for brand.

  • Primary focus on retention, with a secondary focus on converting leads.

  • Lead an Email Service Provider migration (long-term project).

  • Work on additional special projects as assigned.

  • Expand your skills, demonstrate your capability, and grow within SPUD’s Digital Marketing Team!


What you’ll receive

What you'll need

  • A marketing degree preferred, or equivalent education and experience.

  • 1-3 years in an email marketing role.

  • Required: HTML, Google Analytics, Excel, Mail Chimp.

  • Preferred: SQL or a strong understanding of databases, PhotoShop. 

  • An interest in all online marketing channels.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
