Description

If you’re searching for a place of work that values its employees, customers, and communities at the same time, you’ve found it. Because at Kindred Credit Union, we do just that.

When you join our team, you’ll be part of cooperative banking that connects values and faith with finances, inspiring peaceful, just, and prosperous communities. For us, businesses need to do more than just create value for shareholders: they need to show a commitment to people and the communities in which they live.

That’s why we’re inviting people to experience “Banking with Purpose.”

We’re committed to providing innovative, values-based financial services to suit all our members’ needs. And because our profits are shared with our members and their communities, everyone benefits.

Now we’re looking to add new frontline service members to our team who can continue our tradition of exemplary member service.

That’s where you come in

As a part time Member Services Representative (Teller) in our Aylmer Branch you’ll be taking on diverse responsibilities that support the day-to-day operations of our credit union. Usually, this means welcoming members, completing everyday banking transactions, and ensuring members get prompt and knowledgeable answers to their banking questions.

Kindred provides the full range of financial products and services all with values at the core. You’ll become an expert on Kindred’s distinctive product offerings so you can confidently share accurate information with our members, giving them a truly Kindred experience.

The most important part of your role will involve building relationships with members to understand what they need, letting them know about what we do, and putting them in touch with the right financial specialists who can help them achieve their goals.

You’ll be perfect for this role if you’re:

  • Engaging – you’re passionate about how our business does things differently, and you get customers excited about it.

  • Dedicated – you know that each and every member is different, and you don’t stop until you’ve found the right solution for each individual’s needs.

  • Relational – you like getting to know people, and your warmth makes others feel comfortable. You use that to help people find products and services that are right for them.

  • Adaptable – you love to take on new tasks and challenges and can often be found trying something new.

 Working at Kindred Credit Union

This is a contract part-time position with fluctuating hours (typically between 1 and 3 days per week).

You will be part of a collaborative workplace where you’ll be asked to participate in the business and share your voice. You’ll be expected to continually grow your skills and abilities and to share your expertise and experience with colleagues. You’ll also be supported in volunteering your talents for community and other programs that are important to you.

We believe that your life is bigger than any job, so we’ll work together to achieve work-life balance and to care for your overall wellness.  By choosing Kindred, you’ll be joining an engaged workforce: we’re an AON Best Employer, a provider of a Living Wage, and we use business as a force for good™ as a B Corp.

If this opportunity resonates with you, we want to hear from you!
