AllCare Health is seeking a Full-Time Medical Biller who thrives in a team environment and has the ability to provide exceptional service and skills.
AllCare Health is a southern Oregon-based health organization, led by local physicians since 1994. In a progressive model of care, we combine medical, dental, and behavioral health services to provide Medicare, Medicaid insurance coverage to our members. We also provide support to our providers through AllCare Independent Physician Association and AllCare e-Health Services
Our eHealth Services provides a billing service to our contracted providers. The Medical Biller will prepare and submit third-party payor claims (all billings other than direct patient billings) within 2 days of receiving the requisite claims information from Client. Claims will be submitted electronically wherever possible.
Minimum 1 year experience required in healthcare billing, Certification (billing or coding) required within one year of employment.
Demonstrated knowledge of electronic medical/health records systems preferred.
Proficiency in MS Suite products and in software support desirable.
Must be a team player.
Competence in trouble shooting and problem resolution necessary.
Include providing to client, all relevant information/reports regarding billed accounts. Knowledge of PrimeSuite EHR a plus. Must be familiar with ICD-9-10, CPT, HCPCS, Modifiers, and claims workflow.
