Job Summary


The Operations Manager will work with closely with the production and logistics team to improve the quality of our overall operation procedure, procurement and best practice procedures. Reporting to the Chief Idea Officer & CEO, the  Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operation and through coaching, training and exceptional leadership. The Operations Manager is responsible for effectively and efficiently managing the development and direction of the team to drive the growth of revenue, productivity and promote high quality customer satisfaction while building relationships and ensuring the integration of strategic plans with company operations. Upon 6 months, pod leads will report directly to the Continuous Improvement lead, graduation to VP of Operations in 2-3 years upon successful delivery of KPIs.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Work closely with the CEO to establish the overall vision and direction for operations including production, quality, and cost saving initiatives.

  • Establish, lead and maintain a data-driven continuous improvement effort within the company.

  • Develop, design and implement new strategies for creating or improving processes and procedures to improve corporate performance

  • Develop, implement, monitor and improve health and safety initiatives for the organization, ensuring all health and safety standards are met or exceeded

  • Oversee the day-to-day supervision of team members in production and logistics pods

  • Monitor departmental performance against goals financially and operationally to ensure that progress is being made.

  • Meet regularly with team leaders; facilitate resolution of issues/problems

  • Responsible for appropriate staff levels to meet requirements of operations pod

  • Enhance and develop policies, procedures and service systems to meet the goals of the company

  • Ensure efficient operations and customer service

  • Ensure that all reporting employees adhere to company rules and guidelines


We would love it if you:



  • Have a Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 5 years experience in an Operations Management role

  • A strong analytic skill set with the ability to provide actionable recommendations based on KPIs

  • Value strong teamwork and are able to effectively participate and motivate others working within a team environment

  • Have excellent written and oral communication skills; able to present to all levels within the organization as well as customers

  • Are goal oriented, confident, outgoing, and able to succeed under pressure within a competitive environment

  • Able to adapt to new technology- GSuite, Slack, Weekdone etc.

  • Are highly proficient in Microsoft Excel. Desired knowledge includes pivot tables, lookups, chart and graph creation, etc.

  • Have a high level of organization
