The Role

Hop Vancouver is an existing compost facility that processes 2,000 tonnes of

compostable waste each year. The team is actively growing from 5 to 8

members, as we scale Hop’s local waste collection service. Hop Vancouver leads

The Company

Hop uses patented technology to build inner-city compost facilities. Using these

central facilities, Hop collects food waste from local restaurants, and processes it

into Canada’s most nutrient-rich organic compost for local growers. With

operations in Vancouver, Calgary, and Toronto, Hop has now saved more than

10 million pounds of waste and 15 million pounds of emissions. Currently, the

company is growing at a rate of 10% every month, and opening in new cities. We

are a certified B Corp, and believe in the power of business and technology to

solve pressing sustainability issues. As part of this mission, we are committed to

diversity and Living wage standards for our team.
