As Senior Recruiter, you will own the talent acquisition process end to end for a variety of positions across all work types in the company. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and challenge their thinking to get the best result for the organization. You will also lead our efforts to engage staff on behalf of recruiting, and find creative ways to leverage Singularity’s global brand to help draw strong talent to our roles.
Some of the Position’s Responsibilities:
Offer thought leadership to and partner with hiring managers in defining position specifications and search criteria.
Use online tools and sources of information, and both personal and colleague networks to identify potential candidates.
Elicit referrals and staff social media sharing.
Brief and prepare contract talent sourcers as appropriate.
Engage potential candidates in ways which showcase our employment value proposition.
Review resumes, conduct screening interviews, and present candidates to hiring managers.
Manage the interviewing process, leveraging support on scheduling.
Work with hiring managers and candidates to negotiate compensation.
Ensure high-touch communication with candidates in ways that build positive perception.
Champion the SU brand and our mission, contributing positively to the company’s reputation and impact.
Our Requirements (you must have):
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in experience.
At least 3 years of experience in full cycle recruiting.
We’d Like You to Have:
Training in behavioral interviewing techniques.
Prior exposure to rigorous talent selection from work at leading Bay Area companies, search firms, or agencies.
Comfort with working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Exposure to emerging recruiting tools such as Teamable, Smashfly, or Textio.
Understanding of multiple functions and roles.
Experience to other aspects of the People function.
Ability to integrate a deep understanding of company business objectives into recruiting priorities.
Strong commitment to Singularity University’s social mission.
