Floor Supervisor - Full time, must have open availability

· 2 plus years experience in a supervisory position in a customer facing industry.
· Superior customer service skills.
· Demonstrated strong operational execution skills.
· Strong understanding of inventory management.
· A proven track record in decision making.
· Strong leadership qualities and team building skills.
· Excellent communicator, listener, and motivator.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to multi-task, delegate responsibilities, prioritize, and organize effectively.
· Proactive in all aspects of the job.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a sense of urgency.
· Knowledge of and experience using Microsoft Office.
· Available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the Store including mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, and long/unusual hours
As a Floor Supervisor you will assist with all aspects of sales floor operations and be ready and willing to jump in to help in any department as needed. You will ensure that every customer experience is outstanding. You will work to ensure store merchandising is inviting to customers and drives sales. When required you will participate in realigns, building ends and other merchandising projects, see that store is frequently faced, ensure newly received floor stock is being worked in a timely manner and ensure that back stock is being worked in all departments. When necessary, you will assist with ordering. You will make sure that all fresh food departments are well presented throughout the day, direct traffic by identifying where staff are needed. This may require you to move staff between departments. You will eensure staff are making the best use of their time, staying busy and focused, ensure the sales floor is clean and tidy, assist in ensuring store supplies are adequately stocked on the sales floor i.e. t-shirt bags, paper bags, bistro supplies, produce bags, etc., see that eating areas are maintained and tidy, ensure tardy staff are reported to the Store Manager/Asst. Manager, ensure staff are taking their breaks, but are also returning from breaks on time and report issues concerning the physical state of the sales floor to the Store Manager/Asst. Manager.
