Description

stok is looking for an experienced consultant to manage certification programs, including LEED, WELL and Living Building Challenge for our commercial real estate projects. As a consultant at stok, you will make positive environmental impact on some of the Bay Area’s most iconic buildings and work with some of the most forward-thinking companies in the world. Ideal candidates are responsive and sympathetic to the needs of clients, have a strong background in the LEED for New Construction rating system, an understanding of the WELL rating system and some knowledge of the Living Building Challenge. Responsibilities :

  • Manage all aspects of LEED, WELL and LBC rating system projects including project registration, credit prioritization, documentation, and submittal
  • Establish and maintain effective client relationships
  • Articulate and communicate the client’s vision, goals and objectives to the project team
  • Set and manage project expectations
  • Organize and participate in meetings, set agendas, and issue meeting minutes
  • Manage and develop others by being approachable and organized, leading by example, using positive reinforcement, and providing concise communication and clarification
  • Assist with budget development, management, tracking, reporting and adjustment as necessary
  • Manage multiple projects at once
  • Attend seminars, networking events, workshops, and conferences to stay up to date on industry happenings

Qualifications :

  • 3-5 years of relevant LEED experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field
  • LEED AP and/or WELL Accreditation required
  • Experience with new commercial projects a plus
  • An innate attention to detail
  • A team player that gets the job done and sees no task as too small
  • Thrives on building and managing relationships with clients as well as team members
  • Able and eager to start and complete projects independently, with minimal oversight
  • Understands the importance of efficiency and know how to work smart, not just hard
