Description
  • stok is looking for a project coordinator to support LEED certification programs, including New Construction and Commercial Interiors, for stok’s commercial real estate projects. As a consultant at stok, you will make positive environmental impact on some of the Bay Area’s most iconic buildings and work with some of the most forward-thinking companies in the world. Ideal candidates are highly organized and process driven, and familiar with the LEED v4 for New Construction and Commercial Interiors rating systems.   • Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with Project Managers to support all aspects of LEED rating system projects including project registration, credit documentation, submittal, and review comments
  • Stay up to date on project schedules and positioning within the LEED certification process, including coordination of internal and external action items required to complete LEED documentation
  • Assist in design reviews to compile LEED compliance reports and action item lists
  • Attend and take minutes for project meetings
  • Create, update and improve internal process templates
  • Assist with healthy and sustainable materials research and product vetting
  • Support multiple projects at varying stages in the design and construction process
  • Provide research support to Project Managers on cutting edge sustainable design and construction strategies and technologies
  • Attend seminars, workshops, and conferences to stay up to date on innovative industry schemes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ degree in a field related to building science such as architecture, engineering, or construction management
  • 1+ years of relevant experience with LEED project work including documenting credits on LEED Online
  • LEED AP BD+C or ID+C
  • Ability to read and interpret formal construction documents, inclusive Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Landscape, and Civil plan sets and specifications
  • Knowledge of Construction Specification Institute (CSI) format
  • Knowledge of WELL Building Standard and Living Building Challenge
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office
  • An innate attention to detail
  • A team player that gets the job done and sees no task as too small
  • Thrives on building and managing relationships with clients as well as team members
  • Understands the importance of efficiency and know how to work smart, not just hard
  • A passion for sustainability
