We can only fulfill our purpose if we can grow the business, that’s where you come in. We’re looking for an experienced Account Director for our Abbot Kinney, Venice, CA office with 5+ years of consultative sales experience.
You’ll find and develop new business opportunities, work closely with owners, senior marketers and brand managers with leading brands in beauty and eCommerce/Retail sectors. You quickly build trust to earn your ‘seat at the table’ with our clients, helping shape consumer experience, gifting and packaging strategies.
Don’t worry if you don’t know much about our products yet, we’ll teach you. We do expect you to be a great collaborator to lead a team of energetic Designers, Project Managers and Marketers while taking full responsibility delivering an exceptional experience for our customers. You also happen to be wise enough to learn from mistakes and not be afraid to seek advice of others when needed.

Our consultative sales process includes four stages: Discover, Design, Develop and Deliver.
You’re an inquisitive, quick researcher who effectively qualifies each client and project to be sure it’s a good fit, you then engage both client and team resources to design and develop meaningful product solutions. You experience real joy when clients give the go ahead and are happy with their ROI.
There’s two parts to the role that call on all your experience as a highly disciplined, organized leader who cares equally about your team and your customers to build a +$2m portfolio.
1. Sales: New business development - you build meaningful connections every day that lead you to 5 client meetings a week and a healthy pipeline of new business.
2. Account Management – with the support of your team, you ensure an exceptional client experience from discovery through to delivery.
Both require you to make efficient use of Salesforce as well as best use of team resources.

This is a full-time position with incredible company benefits, mostly unheard of in corporate America, but quite typical in certified B Corporations. Required Skills & Experience
- Experience consulting and presenting to client senior leadership
- Superior ability to strategize, consult and close projects that lead to +$2m sales
- Outstanding ability to listen and communicate effectively
- Collaborate with designers and production teams to create exceptional product solutions
- Familiarity with manufacturing of bags, boxes and injection molded items is a plus
- A genuine passion in our product solutions as well as the market sectors we work within
- Experience within the beauty industry
