Mamava Designer job in Burlington
The Mamava Designer thinks strategically about brand and is obsessed with beautiful design (digital, print & experiential). They are a member of the marketing communications team, developing strategic brand and product design at all levels. The Mamava Designer is responsible for creating compelling visual content to be used across all platforms, including digital, print, social and mobile apps. Content creation and production may include illustrations, infographics, photography and videos. The Mamava Designer will also collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on user experience (UX) for Mamava’s digital content platforms, including website and app(s).
This role reports to the VP, Content and Partnerships and they will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders on product and brand marketing and design. This individual will also be a resource for pod graphics, interacting with customers and internal stakeholders.
Produces conceptual design solutions that maintain a strong sense of strategic focus and alignment with design brief.
Works closely with VP, Content and Partnerships throughout the creative development process so that the creative direction and materials created align with the Mamava brand vision and reach the intended audience.
Work with internal stakeholders and Web Development team to create a delightful UX that distinctly serves both B2B partners and Mamava’s mama community
Maintains and updates mamava.com in partnership with Digital Project Manager.
Establishes and enforces (with internal and external partners) Mamava brand and identity guidelines.
Organizes and maintains all work (digital files) on server according to agreed to protocol.
Continually hones her/his craft through research and interaction with the design world and trade events.
Provides design direction to freelance designers and interns, as needed.
Other assigned duties as required.
- 4+ years of related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Degree from accredited college in Graphic Design with related coursework/ education.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite with proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign.
- Understanding and experience in generating new and emerging digital media.
- Familiarity with MS Office (Powerpoint) and Keynote.
- Communications Proficiency
- Ability to thrive in a start-up environment.
