SALES & MERCHANDISING LEAD

You will build sales and client relationships with our tight knit team to ensure a stellar customer experience while handling basic, technical, and strategic visual merchandising in our contemporary boutique setting.

THE POSITION
The Sales & Merchandising Lead acts as exemplary sales presence in our store. You’ll be responsible for hitting daily and monthly sales goals by building meaningful relationships with our clients, primarily in person but also through other creative avenues to fit our clients’ needs (email, video chat, and more). You’ll be a leader for our part-time sales associate team, and will lead trainings in areas of sales and merchandising. You will be responsible for maintaining basic merchandising standards and handling technical merchandising throughout the week. You will perform strategic merchandising regularly, on your own or by partnering with the co-owner. You will also be responsible for providing re-order feedback to our buyer on a weekly basis.

COMP/BENEFITS
The position is FULL-TIME, 40hr/week. $32k salary with monthly commission should sales goals be met, following 90 day trial period. Benefits include two weeks paid vacation, paid personal days, paid sick days & holidays, SIMPLE IRA retirement plan with company match, and merchandise discounts.

You’re a natural extrovert with a keen eye for detail and an optimistic attitude.

YOUR CRED
You have a proven record of creating outstanding customer experiences while exceeding sales goals. You have at least 1 year of retail experience. You love creating clean, beautifully merchandised spaces. You can cite numerous examples of your organizational skills. You have a college degree, ideally in retail management, textiles, or business. You are comfortable using a Mac and can navigate multiple programs efficiently after basic training.
