About the Job:
We are looking for a self-motivated individual contributor to wear our core value, ‘Operate at a High Level of Productivity’, as a badge of honor and join our Finance Team as a Junior Accountant. The ideal candidate is highly focused and ready to jump into our financial processes to allow other team members to prioritize other areas of focus as a high-growth company. This position will report to our Controller.

The company launched in 2013, after the founders learned that socks are the #1 most requested clothing item at homeless shelters. From there, they set out to solve that problem, donating a pair of socks for every pair they sell. How do you donate a lot of socks? You sell a lot. And how do you sell a lot? You make the most comfortable socks in the history of feet. Seven million pairs sold and donated later, Bombas is continuing to innovative with new socks and apparel while creating a positive impact on the community where we all work and live.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Maintain general ledger, financial records, and day to day financial transactions.
- Manage accounts payable: review and process invoices; maintain vendor files; correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.
- Manage inventory: process inventory transactions from purchase order to inventory receipt; prepare multiple-warehouse inventory reconciliation.
- Assess data to ensure that proper accounting practices are being adhered to.
- Identify and correct errors by posting adjusted journal entries.
- Provide financial status information by preparing special reports and supporting special projects.

Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in accounting
- Associates Degree in Accounting preferred but not required
- Experience using Apple products, Quickbooks and Google Business Apps
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
