Our Culture and Talent team is in search of a Senior HR Generalist who thrives in a fast paced, environment. Our new team member will lead Arabella’s recruiting efforts and play a lead role in our diversity and inclusion work, while also providing support to our team’s other areas of focus.

Essential Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

Develop and execute recruiting strategies to ensure the team meets the firm’s staffing needs and diversity hiring goals
Lead recruiting processes for open positions across the firm, including drafting position descriptions; reviewing resumes; conducting interviews; scheduling; administering and analyzing assessments; checking references and conducting background checks; making offers; and coordinating on boarding
Develop, implement, and support leading recruiting practices that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure high quality of hiring processes
Support the development of junior recruiting staff
Manage assigned Culture and Talent team budget line-items
Manage recruiting related metrics for the team
Manage assigned aspects of the Arabella employment brand, which may include info sessions, printed collateral, the careers website, social media pages, candidate e-newsletter, and career fairs
Develop and nurture internal and external relationships that generate candidate pipelines and referrals for assigned business units and departments, including coordinating and representing firm at recruiting events
Lead training on Arabella’s recruiting protocol and techniques
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws related to hiring practices
Support the team’s efforts to meet customer service standards

Diversity & Inclusion

Bring specialized recruiting knowledge to the firm around diversity
Support the development of and help manage implementation of the firm’s diversity strategy
In partnership with the Senior Director, Culture and Talent, manage partnerships that will generate candidate pools that include underrepresented populations at Arabella, including tracking the ROI on partnerships
Work with hiring managers to build diverse candidate pools for assigned positions
Manage assigned aspects of Arabella’s inclusion strategy

Other Responsibilities

Support training and development efforts for managers and staff
Lead and or participate in firm wide and local cultural activities
Support administration of the firm’s various compensation programs
Serve as business partner providing training, coaching and internal consulting to supervisors and leaders on employee-relations, including performance matters
Provide support to the firm’s benefits and payroll functions as needed

To be successful in this role you’ll need:

Bachelor’s degree
6-8 years of HR experience, to include recruiting, compensation and benefits experience
HRCI or SHRM certification
Demonstrated knowledge of current best practices and trends in diversity and inclusion
Ability to anticipate issues and take appropriate steps to resolve problems
Strong facilitation skills
Track record of continuing to develop HR knowledge and skills
Demonstrated commitment to the philanthropic sector and mission-driven organizations
Demonstrated commitment to service excellence in fast-paced cultures
