About the Role

As an Inbound Warehouse Administrator, you will be responsible for verifying the accuracy of incoming deliveries, handling purchase order exceptions, and following up on quality problems through resolution. This is a cross-functional role that requires the candidate to work with multiple teams and departments as well as to handle a variety of different tasks daily within a warehouse environment. This is a role that will be half at a desk and half hands-on. This is a seasonal position that will run until December 2018. During this period your performance will be assessed for a year-round position on our team.

About you

  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • You are responsible – you consistently attend shifts on time, every day scheduled

Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming merchandise and recording errors
  • Track incoming deliveries throughout the day
  • Maintain accurate correspondence and records of vendor communications
  • Handle the upkeep of internal ticket tracking system
  • Work collaboratively with Purchasing/Merchandising Departments on discrepancies
  • Process warehouse damages for proper disposal
  • Prepare the shipment of material being returned to vendor partners including the creation of shipping labels

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse experience and experience processing or managing Purchase Orders and/or invoices preferred
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel and Microsoft Office
