Job Title:                       ACA Trainee

Reports to:                   Advisory and Impact Managers

Direct Reports:             None

Job Purpose

The Advisory & Impact department works across four main practice areas; impact management (social impact and evaluation), transactions (investment readiness, collaboration and acquisitions), risk and investigation (due diligence, risk and forensic accounting) and strategy (strategic insight and organisational effectiveness). As an analyst you will work on projects across all four practice areas, learning under the guidance of the practice managers and alongside other analysts. You will study for the ACA qualification alongside work under a training contract supervised within the department.

The Role

Key Responsibilities and Duties include:

  • Assist with the production of financial and strategic advisory reports including business plans, options appraisals, feasibility studies and financial due diligence reviews
  • Production of financial, risk and market analysis papers for discussion with clients
  • Assist with the production of financial models and financial analysis spread sheet workings
  • Support our impact team with the production of research reports
  • Produce information packs/research reports to prepare for client and target meetings
  • Liaise with clients, including co-ordinating meetings and managing information requests
  • Support the Impact and Advisory Managers with day-to-day project management
