Reporting to the Director of Digital Marketing, the Manager of Social Growth and Measurement will be responsible for formalizing the reporting and analysis on our social communities. This person will create testing plans and ensure that all tests and efforts are measurable. In addition to measuring the efficacy of the social communities, this person will be responsible for the growth of the communities.

In this role, the Manager of Social Growth and Measurement will focus on creating testing cycles as well as driving community growth by fostering positive reviews of the Walden brand. This individual will also drive the syndication and sharing of community content, and increase community membership. This person will also help to integrate social throughout the funnel to aid in recruitment strategies.

  • Establish baseline KPIs for the social communities

  • Develop testing plans and cycles that drive improvements in KPIs i.e. engagement rate, community growth, and progression of community members in the funnel

  • Work with the Community Management group to establish a SLA for response time

  • Ensure all community efforts are attached to a measurable outcome

  • Analyze performance, make recommendations for improvements, and develop reporting to be shared with the team that provides insight into the efficacy of initiatives executed

  • Develop monthly reporting that tracks social performance against key KPIs and share with internal and external stakeholders

  • Drive measurable enrollment and business impact through the social communities

  • Drive community growth, active users, and funnel progression

  • Ensure everyone is aware of and engages with the social communities

  • Leverage data gathered from social platforms to inform and guide social media strategy and growth tactics

  • Remain current on latest trends and advancements in the social space

  • Use analytics and other measurement tools to provide reports on metrics, and continually find ways to improve on those metrics through testing and new initiatives

  • Use data to determine best ways to drive users to the communities and impact the full funnel


  • 7-10 years of relevant, hands-on experience working with various social media platforms and monitoring tools in a competitive and fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple, sometimes competing priorities

  • Proven success in demonstrating the role social thought leadership plays in an organization and its impact to ROI

  • Advanced knowledge of social media analytics tools such as Percolate, Spredfast, Brandwatch, etc.

  • Strong verbal and written communication as well as presentation skills required

  • Strong diplomatic, interpersonal, and team skills are a must

  • In-depth understanding and problem-solving approach to complex, multifunctional projects

  • Demonstrated history of tracking progress, execution, and consistency of social media campaigns

  • Excellent organization and project management skills with an emphasis on being thorough, detail-oriented, and with ability to multi-task

  • Independent worker who has managed various projects on a daily basis with minimal supervision

  • Excellent computer skills to include proficiency with Microsoft Office products

  • Experience working with web analytics tools such as GA

  • Established track record of analyzing raw data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations

  • Advanced critical thinking, analysis, quantitative, problem-solving, and synthesis skills

  • Understanding of fundamental ad metric and calculations (i.e. CTR, CPC, CPM, CPA)

  • Minimum education requirements: B.S. degree in marketing, business, or related field
