Claims Analyst I job in Grants Pass

AllCare Health is seeking a Full-Time Claims Analyst I who thrives in a team environment and has the ability to provide exceptional service and skills.
AllCare Health is a southern Oregon-based health organization, led by local physicians since 1994. In a progressive model of care, we combine medical, dental, and behavioral health services to provide Medicare, Medicaid insurance coverage to our members. We also provide support to our providers through AllCare Independent Physician Association and AllCare e-Health Services

The Claims Analyst I is responsible for working closely with the Department Supervisor and other staff to review, audit and adjudicate claims by performing the following duties

Minimum Job Qualifications:
• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10CM, ICD10PCS, Current Procedural Terminology, Healthcare Common Procedure Coding Systems, CMS1500 and UB04 and other claim forms.

Essential Duties:
• Accurately and efficiently adjudicates all professional claims applying benefits and pricing according to company policy, contract language and Medicare/Medicaid guidelines.
• Evaluates pending claims to identify errors and takes appropriate action.
• Maintains compliance with claim routing and inventory control procedures.

Physical Demands: Must be able to sit for a minimum of 8 hours per day using telephone and computer.
