Employee Experience and Communications Project Manager – Contract Role
Reports to: Senior Manager Brand Communications and Engagement
The Employee Experience and Communications Project Manager manages and executes all employee experiences related to our HQ building including moves, physical space, engagement, and communications designed to inspire, motivate and engage employees.
This role creates and executes high impact work that amplifies our culture, encourages collaboration, and is central to making our workplace fun, engaging, and irresistible.
The Project Manager will work closely with Marketing, Finance, and Facilities to drive and support all phases of execution, from ideation to pre-planning, to final execution.
The person in this role should have excellent interpersonal and project management skills, be a self-starter, have a focus on continuous improvement and creativity, and look for new and innovative ways to engage employees and create a great place to work.
This role will also lean in with Brand Communications and storytelling as time permits. In addition to the core responsibilities, this role will also support general communications initiatives and projects, including meeting and event content and support and other ad hoc requests.
The person in this role will work closely with the Brand Communications team to ensure experiences ladder up to the overarching brand story and communications strategy.
Essential Duties
  • This role is responsible for delivering work and resources to build a great physical and experiential place to work
  • Project manages all building related work including moves, marketing, furniture, communications, and experiences
  • Responsible for a work environment that drives employee engagement and collaboration.
  • Proactively leads projects, drives and achieves results
  • Leads multiple projects simultaneously and able to track projects with varying deadlines
  • Has clear idea of priorities and has leadership qualities
  • Excellent writer and project manager
  • Creates, manages and helps execute strategic (beyond tactical) plans to achieve desired results.
  • Actively counsels, influences and communicates frequently with cross-functional partners
  • Responsible for relationships with business partners
  • Has solid knowledge of areas of responsibility and can represent internal communications to business partners.
  • Write copy and edit content to be included in internal communications channels
  • Must be flexible, agile, and able to act quickly, competently and confidently.
Qualifications


  • Experience in employee experience work is a plus

  • Proven track record (5 years' minimum) including employee-related communications

  • Superb communications skills (written, oral and non-verbal) and talent to tailor messages to specific constituencies

  • Ability to lead, motivate and deliver through working collaboratively with others

  • Proven experience in planning and executing employee programs

  • Flexibility to respond to rapidly changing conditions and the imagination and tenaciousness to turn obstacles into opportunities


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail


  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritizing as required


  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines and deliver for multiple stakeholders


  • Ability to collaborate with others and work effectively across teams without direct reporting relationships

 

Hours: 20 hours/week, flexible based on meetings and deliverables

 

Start Date: ASAP
