Job Description
About the Role and what you can expect

Employed by Think: Education Services the Clinical Placement Coordinator will secure and allocate clinical placements to students in accordance to the Diploma of Nursing program.

You will be the lead contact with industry in Melbourne for all existing relationships. You will also drive new relationships within the industry to generate opportunities for your students and for THINK Education.

Reporting to the Director of Careers and Employability, you will be the sounding board for student comments and complaints.
You will be working in a fast paced environment where priorities can change. You will work closely with students to ensure they are industry placement ready and will be motivated by their success i.e successful placement and graduation.

Responsibilities of theClinical Placement Coordinatorare:

  • Build and foster relationships with Industry

  • Work with Industry relationships to arrange Industry Placement for students

  • Set up Industry contracts for student placement

  • Assess Work Health and Safety of Industry

  • Assess student placement log books and placement

Desired Skills and Experience
Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications

To be successful you will:

  • Have experience in similar role

  • Be Registered Nurse with a certificate 4

  • Possess strong Office 365 skills particularly Excel

  • Be exceptionally organised

  • Have the ability to work independently
