Captain Blankenship, a clean beauty company based in Gardiner, NY seeks a new teammate to handle our customer care and general office management. We are growing by leaps and bounds and hoping to find the right person to help us stay organized and keep a healthy and happy environment in our office. Position would be part to full time with flexible hours. Founded in 2009, Captain Blankenship makes haircare, skincare and bodycare products and scents with organic ingredients. Social responsibility and sustainability of ingredients and packaging is at the heart of the company, which is both a B Corp, Leaping Bunny Certified and part of 1% for the Planet. Captain Blankenship was born out of Jana Blankenship’s desire to create organic beauty products that create a direct link with nature. From its birth in Jana’s kitchen, the company has grown into a full product line sold on Sephora.com, Anthropologie, Follain, CAP Beauty, The Detox Market and over 300 stores nationally and internationally. Captain Blankenship also has a line called Sailor by Captain Blankenship in Target stores nationwide that is about to open up to wider distribution. Requirements: -Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel -Highly organized -Works quickly and efficiently -Engaging and communicative -Problem solver -Team player -Prior experience in customer service or office management Responsiblities: -Handle customer service emails and inquiries -Light shipping duties -Close communication with our fulfillment center to handle and troubleshoot shipping issues -Office organization including filing, ordering office supplies and equipment, and tidying office space -Organizing digital files -Assisting VP of Sales on wholesale orders as necessary -Keep office space healthy and happy (oversee composting, recycling and make sure we are doing our best to be sustainable)
