PURPOSE

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our Emeryville, CA based Supply Chain team in a full-time, long-term, salaried role. This position reports in to our Operations Manager.

KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage customer orders, order fulfillment, and delivery processes from beginning to end (entries, accuracy, resolving discrepancies, tracking, delivery changes and confirmations)
  • Foster relationships with key partners (customer buyers, managed transportation 3PL, warehousing) to improve satisfaction, drive efficiency, and lower costs
  • Support the Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams (ex: finished goods inventory reporting, forecasting processes, Accounts Payables/Receivables needs related to customer orders, product sample needs for events)
  • Drive improvements in on-time pickup, on-time delivery, warehouse inventory accuracy, outbound logistics freight, and finished goods warehousing costs
  • Other projects and duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Sustainability or related field
  • Experience with an ERP system preferred (Netsuite, Microsoft Axapta, SAP, etc.)
  • Experience in a Food & Beverage environment is preferred.
  • Ability to travel on an infrequent basis to visit suppliers, service providers, manufacturers, events, trade shows, training, and team bonding sessions
