Business Operations Coordinator job in New York

Major League Hacking (MLH) is looking for someone to join our growing family and New York City office as Business Operations Coordinator. As part of our Operations team you will be responsible for helping make sure our team has everything they need to be successful.

Every year, MLH helps hundreds of community leaders around the world organize events for 100,000 technologists and innovators. To do this, we employee a rapidly growing team that you’ll help shape while creating an environment where they can do their best work.

You’ll be responsible for administering the operations of a rapidly growing company and gaining the skills to run an business.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Recruiting - We have plans to grow the business by 50% in 2019. We’ll need your help to do this, you’ll be responsible for introductory conversations with candidates and helping them through the hiring process.
• Manage Corporate Expenses - You’ll be responsible for working with our accounting team to provide perspective as we reconcile the company’s expenses so that we can know how we’re spending our money.
• Human Resource Administration - You’ll help the team navigate our accounts and benefits, while working to make sure everything runs smoothly.
• Office Management - You’ll manage our office and facilities, making sure our largely self-sufficient team has a great space to work.

Desired Skills and Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in an operations role
