PURPOSE

The Field Marketing Manager, NorCal will join our team in a full-time role, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-growth, entrepreneurial environments and can manage day-to-day details while driving regional strategy in conjunction with the field marketing and sales team.

  • Bringing the brand to life through creative and innovative ideas that support brand growth and drive in-store velocity
  1. Regional retail programming
  2. Demo programs and strategy
  3. Consumer sampling activations
  4. Influencer Marketing
  5. Field operations and logistics

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Consumer Events and In-Store Sampling:

  • Recruit, train and manage a full team of enthusiastic Brand Ambassadors. Management includes overseeing manpower budget, scheduling of day to day activation, timesheet and expense approvals, etc.
  • Manage day to day activities of Brand Ambassador Team to ensure proper execution and brand alignment for local events, retail execution, and in-store demos to drive trial to purchase
  • Explore, secure and manage consumer event opportunities for the team to activate
  • Lead and manage execution at key events, demos, and influencer activations
  • Develop effective and breakthrough local marketing strategy and initiatives that help create and increase brand awareness and help drive sales back to retail


Retail Support:

  • Build and manage retail schedule focusing on demo's, sales programming support, store manager engagement, and merchandising
  • Interact with the internal sales team to properly align brand goals with sales initiatives
  • Identify influencer retail account opportunities to introduce the brand and products, gaining new account business and order commitments
  • Meet measurable and specific monthly/quarterly objectives for all sampling activities across the market


Influencer Marketing:

  • Develop seeding and sampling strategy allowing us to connect with local key influencers, securing breakthrough events where each brand can thrive among attendees, creating future connections and brand affinity

Miscellaneous:

  • Manage and create weekly and monthly recaps of market execution, capturing various metrics that support and validate Field Marketing Team initiatives
  • Implement and manage monthly metrics tracking with the Brand Ambassador team, that ensures the team is reaching key goals
  • Some local market budget management. (i.e. Monthly Brand Ambassador hour tracking, local event budget, etc.)
  • Gather, track and share valuable retail/consumer feedback that contributes to innovation, quality control, and other important branding decisions
  • REBBL Fleet Care – local fleet vehicle maintenance and daily care
  • Maintain accuracy of product and toolkit inventory and tracking. Manage organization and cleanliness of local storage unit(s) -- highly organized.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid state issued driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Must live in the San Francisco Bay area and have knowledge of the area
  • 1-2 years relevant experience in events, promotional leadership, and consumer products marketing
  • Displays discretion and judgment regarding all brand decisions and management of the area
  • Sales and/or retail experience preferred
  • Strong networking and relationship building skills; energetic, motivated, outgoing, competitive and embraces the brand
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to train Brand Ambassadors and deliver engaging presentations
  • Experience assessing and negotiating local partnership opportunities preferred
  • Ability to take direction well and contribute insights and knowledge gained in the field -- your opinion and experience matters
  • Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must have a smartphone with the ability to take/upload/identify photos; Internet access -- constantly connected to what is going on in the area
  • Flexibility to work days, nights and/or weekends
  • Creative, innovative, self-starter
  • Multi-tasker who creatively and effectively solves problems
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, primarily within the area
  • Must be able to lift/ carry a minimum of 30 lbs.
