Revalue is an employee-owned impact investment advisory firm based in Ypsilanti, Michigan that is redefining the purpose of wealth for values-driven individuals in Michigan and nationally. We are values investors (Buffett style), we believe in discreet and passive investment selection (very few managed fund holdings), and we place additional screens for ESG (environmental, social, governance) and impact on our investment research. We are B Corp Certified and and have recently been awarded a contract with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation to provide local investor education and awareness statewide over 2019.

Compensation:

Revalue’s compensation plan includes a mix of salary, benefits, and an equity vesting schedule. We provide advisors with back office support, market exposure, and qualified leads (no cold calling or lead list buying).

Requirements:

• Currently operating as an Investment Advisor Representative with existing clientele

• Must have a regulatory record clear of fraud, suspensions, fines, or judgements

• At least three years of investment advisory experience attracting, servicing, and retaining clients

• Must be Michigan-based and willing to occasionally travel

• Educational degrees and professional certifications/designations

• Experience in community organizing, board service, or volunteerism

You will be responsible for:

• Educating with ease – providing education to investors one on one and in group format using a variety of facilitation methods designed to guide investors, and the broader community, toward new levels of understanding and knowledge.

• Executing using technology – using a variety of platforms to communicate internally and externally, including using technology to serve long distance clients and working in a paperless environment.

• Having an owner-advisor mentality – ability to attract clients who fit best with us, while keeping short- and long-term firm sustainability in mind as an owner.

• Being part of a team - all clients are Revalue’s clients; we are not a group of independent advisors, working together to gain efficiencies of scale. We are looking for high quality advisors that are looking for a team environment where we shape the future with each other and our community.
