Account Management Intern job in San Diego

We are looking for a part-time Account Management Intern to join our team this Summer for a three month internship. This is not your “getting coffee and answering phones” kind of internship – we’d love for you to gain as much knowledge as you can from us and grow within your career aspirations.

Internship Responsibilities:
• Shadow various team members to learn about account management
• Learn how to create and write creative briefs
• Assist with building decks for client meetings
• Develop the skills to create and prepare for effective client meetings
• Play a role in research projects, competitive reports and much more
• Interact with multiple teams across the Agency on various projects
• Contribute to strategic, proactive brainstorming addressing client needs and new initiatives

Qualifications:
• Majoring in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or a related field
• A current student and eligible for internship academic credit
• A previous Marketing internship and experience with conducting research are a plus
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, energetic and highly creative environment
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn and the ability to multi-task
