Description

Cora is a disruptive San Francisco women’s wellness startup. Our mission is to help every woman experience the full power of her body with health, dignity and agency. Cora provides healthy, innovative products to women in the U.S., while providing health education and period care products to girls in need in developing countries for every product sold. Cora is taking off— in terms of revenue, products, content, and sales channels—and yet we are just getting started. We’re seeking an experienced yet scrappy Operations Analyst who understands how to manage the complexity of retailer needs and who loves a good operational challenge.

As Operations Analyst you will be a key member of the Operations team supporting both B2C & B2B channels helping to determine, implement, and evaluate business metrics to meet ongoing organizational and customer information needs.

This role demands someone who connects with our mission, cares about women’s health, and is driven by a desire to do work with a purpose. You will need to be a quick study and willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic, start-up environment, taking on a high degree of responsibility and autonomy. The role will report into the Head of Operations, with a strong partnership with both the e-Commerce and Retail teams.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Retail and Operations teams to manage Cora inventory and planning across multiple channels
  • Become fluent with a multitude of Partner planning systems currently used for inventory management, order processing, invoicing, logistics and supply chain updates
  • Maintain relationships with Vendor partners and Brokers on reporting formats, timeliness, comprehensiveness, and accuracy of data
  • Coordinate order placement of finished goods from manufacturing and/or fulfillment partners for Retail and/or Amazon channels
  • Provide operational support to retail-focused Marketing programs (i.e., inventory analysis, fulfillment assistance, shipment tracking, etc.)
  • Update daily / weekly / monthly reports (Excel, Alloy, Amazon Seller Central) to properly match budgets to actuals
  • Use outside tools (Nielsen, Spins, Alloy, others) to provide Product, Category or Retailer insight as needed
  • Assist in New Item/Vendor setups with existing or prospective Retail partners.
  • Be proactive in recommendations for improving inventory health, operational processes, communication with partners, reporting metrics, etc.
  • Work cross-departmentally on a daily basis to set clear expectations of resources and project needs for upcoming programs

About You

  • A Creative Problem Solver – Continuous improvement mindset with demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements to eliminate non-value added work
  • An Action Oriented Doer – Someone who is driven by results. Someone who strongly believes in accountability. A task-oriented self-starter who stays calm under pressure and proactively takes on big ideas and projects
  • Hands On – Someone humble enough to tackle low level mundane tasks some days and then drive high-level strategic discussions the next. Someone who is hungry to learn and take on more responsibility as the company grows
  • A Collaborator – One who works well with teams and can listen while still sharing a strong point of view
  • An Optimist – Someone with a can-do attitude, who can lead in the face of uncertainty, and with a great sense of humor

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA, Supply Chain Management) or equivalent practical experience
  • 1-3 years Demand Planning/Supply Chain/Retail Analyst experience
  • CPG experience is a plus
  • Exceptional analytical and statistical skills
  • Thorough attention to detail
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with business partners
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Time management skills and the ability to prioritize various work-streams
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Individuals with strong analytical skills, an ability to manage multiple vastly different projects and think big-picture as a cohesive brand will be strong fits for this role that promises to present critical business challenges on a daily basis
