We help our clients – primarily North American governments, utilities, private firms and non-profits – by assessing market-wide energy efficiency, renewable energy and clean mobility opportunities; by designing programs, policies and strategies to accelerate their adoption; and by evaluating (and improving) their performance.

You are passionate, rigorous, analytical and communicate effectively. Your experience – at work or in life – tells that story. More specifically, you offer:
Required skills & experience:
• 2-5 years of work experience that is relevant to supporting the clean energy transition
• a solid technical background in engineering, building sciences, and/or clean energy systems
• a general understanding of energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies and practices
• knowledge and experience with the MS Office suite, with a particular emphasis on Microsoft Excel and MS Access
• experience solving analytical problems with MS Excel and/or scripted tools (such as Python or R) for modelling economic and energy impacts and trends
• ability to write and communicate clearly in English
• ability to prioritize effectively and work on multiple tasks/ projects within established timelines and budgets
• ability to work in a team and strong interpersonal skills
• demonstrated interest in the clean energy transition
Preferred skills and experience:
• experience with consulting (project management, synthesizing information, client relationships, etc.)
• ability to write and communicate clearly in French
• deep understanding of the issues and complexities of the clean energy transition.
RESPONSIBILITIES
At Dunsky, Analysts play an important role supporting our work designing and evaluating clean energy strategies. Their tasks may include:
• Developing, applying and improving analytical models and tools to assess energy saving opportunities
• Assessing and characterizing clean energy technologies
• Conducting analysis of energy use and market data to support the design and evaluation of clean energy programs and policies
• Researching best practices in energy efficiency program design
• Conducting primary research such as surveys with market actors and gathering information on market dynamics
• Documenting and interpreting findings using compelling visual presentation of data and effective writing
The successful candidate will contribute to impactful projects for clients across Canada and the U.S. and advise key decision-makers and influencers on sustainable energy strategies.

LOCATION
The candidate will be based at our Toronto office.
