We are growing and looking for a Dallas Regional Catering Sales Representative to join the team. This role will have ownership over growing our high quality catering sales channel in the Dallas region. We currently operate one restaurant in Dallas and plan to grow additional locations. The role has flexibility in terms of hours worked, though a minimum of 20 hours per week in the beginning will likely be needed to be effective.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning, developing, and growing sales for Dallas MIXT locations, while maintaining relationships with existing clients
  • Providing customer feedback to store operations teams to help improve operational execution of catering orders
  • Build sales by generating client leads, organizing outside sales efforts, performing sales calls
  • Partner with Marketing team to assist in generating collateral for outside sales activities
  • Stays on top of each store's top clients and performs regular check-ins to ensure MIXT remains their preferred catering option
  • Contact lapsed customers to understand how their catering needs have changed
  • Administrative duties include maintaining target client lists, sales activities documentation, plans of action, and calculating ROI from outreach efforts

Required Experience:

  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Proven sales growth in previous territories

Required Skills:

  • Proven ability to develop, nurture, and maintain strong client relationships while driving ROI for the business
  • Understands the overall catering market, competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand, and how to sell
  • Warm, can-do attitude with a guest-first mindset
  • Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment
  • Must be organized, and possess a strong sense of urgency and professional demeanor
  • Entrepreneurial drive and ability to work self-sufficiently
  • Passion for high quality healthy food and sustainable food systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
