Benefit Director job in Gloucester

Pure Strategies seeks a Benefit Director to contribute to our team that is transforming business to create a more sustainable future. For over 20 years, Pure Strategies has helped leading companies garner the business benefits of sustainability through improvements in strategy, operations, products, and supply chains. The Benefits Director will work collaboratively with Pure Strategies management and the B Keeper to help shape and guide the company's Benefit Corp and B Corp involvement.

We ask that the candidate have knowledge of a Benefit Corp and B Corp and that they have some relatable experience to our business and consultancy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee implementation of B-Corp  review and approve company Benefit Corp report
• Focuses us on how we can better provide services and outreach to diverse and disadvantaged communities (has connections to organizations that service this area)
• Keeps us realistic in our goals
• Understands the tenuous balance we have with time and client work
• Help us to be more aligned with the notion of responsibility, not just profitability in a balanced way
• Help us define what diversity and inclusion means to us as a group
• Guides us in ways to talk about what it is we do and how it impacts people and the planet directly
• Contributes to discussion to leverage B Corp and Benefit corp status  

Commitment

• Two in-person meetings per year and 4 phone calls per year.

Compensation

 $5,000  - $10,000 depending on fit + travel costs
