Dishwasher/Food Prep job in Toronto

This Dishwasher/Prep Cook position is crucial to keeping this organic kitchen running efficiently. The role consists of ensuring all dishes are carefully washed and ready for use. The dishwasher will also be assisting in preparing delicious organic salads, snacks and sides. Includes food prep, packaging, organizing, cleaning and dishes.

The perfect candidate is detail oriented, pro-active and able to work at a fast pace. We’re also looking for very happy, positive people who can easily get along well with everyone at the Mama Earth planet headquarters. We're looking for people who are going become a longterm member of our team.

General skills required:

• Detail Oriented/ meticulous/ picky
• Ability to work at a fast pace
• Positive attitude and ability to get along well with others
• Excellent judgment
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, within time limits
• Some lifting is required (20-30 lbs)
• Pro-active and reliable
• Interest/knowledge in organics/environment/local food is an asset!

Hours:
Mondays - Fridays: 6:00am - 2:00pm(ish)
Compensation:
Starting at $16.00 per hour (+ discount on organic produce).

Benefits are also available after 3 months to those who qualify.
