Carbon Specialist job in Lusaka

VCS and CCB verifications, including PD writing. Flawless English writing technical skills needed.
• RS/GIS: Image interpretation and classification, data management and database development.
• Carbon: CDM parameterization, produce carbon stock estimates from biomass and soil plot
measurements.
• Manage dispersed forest and conservation monitoring teams.
• Train colleagues in carbon standards and ensure project design and implementation follows standards
and laws.
• Conduct pre-viability analyses of potential new REDD+ project areas.
• Large-scale mapping (ideally with tools like Earth Engine or Sepal),
• GIS database management,
• Geospatial modeling,
• forest biomass assessment,
• Design, implement and oversee digital biodiversity monitoring systems.
