We have the ambition to significantly increase our digital marketing, content production and lead generation capacity and are looking for an experienced digital marketing person to help us build our profile and bring in new client partnerships.

 

About the role

We're looking for an experienced digital marketing person to join our small content and communications team in central Bristol (office close to Temple Meads station).

The role will predominantly support the client sales function through profile building and delivery of new business leads. Content generation and channel management will also cover the charity side, with the two audiences closely interlinked.

You will be working with and supporting the Communications and Content Manager to define and create digital marketing plans in line with the orgainsation’s strategy and business needs.

This role will cover development and management of all aspects of digital marketing, including:

  • Content development and copywriting across blogs, web pages, social media and video case studies
  • Inputting into the development of the social media strategy
  • Pushing content out through social channels, social media scheduling and social community management
  • Management of paid-for social campaigns
  • Maximising lead generation through the creation of CTAs, landing pages and forms
  • Google Adwords/PPC campaigns
  • Implementing SEO activity such as content distribution, on-site updates, image updates and keyword research
  • Media monitoring and tracking campaign performance through social channels and Google Analytics
  • Website updates to blog and landing pages using CMS
  • Development of new business assets including case studies, research summaries, sales packs, onboarding packs
  • Digital support for PR campaigns
  • Competitor product and content reviews
  • Research / development of profile opportunities such as speaker and panel attendance, events, award submissions
  • Management/development of prospect content lists and generation of content for email campaigns
  • Email content development for existing client product/service updates

 

About you

  • An excellent communicator and writer
  • A creative thinker, good at storytelling and condensing information into accessible, bite-size content
  • Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
  • A passion for great content development
  • An analytical mind, with good numeracy skills and a strong interest in data and reporting
  • Understanding and interest in social media channels and campaign analysis
  • Community minded, with a desire to utilise your skills to support the charitable sector and help businesses be a force for good
  • A great team player, able to provide input into a small multifunctional team
  • An interest in corporate social responsibility and sustainability
  • Good prioritization skills, able to complete multiple tasks and goals
  • A self-starter, able to work autonomously and flexibly
  • Excellent attention to detail

 

Key skills and experience

  • At least 3 years experience in a similar or related digital role
  • Experience in B2B digital marketing
  • An understanding of SEO best practice
  • Experience of managing social media platforms, marketing automation platforms, CMS and email tools
  • Familiar with Microsoft suite, particularly Excel
  • Experience in lead generation and traffic driving
