Under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer, the Impact Measurement Associate will be responsible for developing and executing Greyston’s measurement and evaluation strategy and contributing to a culture of data-driven decision-making.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


The Impact Measurement Associate will be responsible for coordinating research and evaluation efforts across external and internal partners to develop a united and cohesive approach to data collection, monitoring and analysis inclusive of financial modeling and evaluation. This work will help prove Greyston’s business and social impact case for Open Hiring® to foster adoption of the model and expand opportunities to individuals who face barriers to employment.

  • Lead Greyston’s overarching measurement and evaluation strategy, including running our Impact Measurement System, to capture the impact of Open Hiring® at Greyston and across other organizations.
  • Align on key metrics to capture impact of Open Hiring® across both social and business performance indicators.
  • Coordinate across external research partners to drive cohesive measurement approach.
  • Manage and execute reporting efforts to funders (e.g., foundations, donors) to communicate impact.
  • Stay up to date on latest research in impact hiring ecosystem.
  • Lead impact measurement on Greyston’s effectiveness in Southwest Yonkers.
  • Develop ongoing data collection processes across organization to align key metrics.
  • Maximize use of Salesforce for impact measurement and reporting.
  • Collect and analyze data from other business piloting Open Hiring®.
  • Work with businesses adopting Open Hiring® to align on key metrics to track impact.
  • Collect qualitative and quantitative data cross businesses using surveys, interviews, and other data collection methods.
  • Develop case studies to highlight the impact of Open Hiring® pilots.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses to inform data-driven decision making.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • Three to five years or relevant professional experience in research and/or data analysis.
  • Prior experience working on relevant research and evaluation projects demonstrating progressively increased responsibilities.
  • Knowledge and experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods.
  • Experience working with Salesforce and/or other impact measurement systems.
  • Strong financial modeling experience
  • Ability to develop, analyze, and maintain excel financial models for projects with understanding of key drivers
  • Ability to report and analyze data to support monthly KPIs, prepare presentations for senior management, and provide meaningful and actionable analysis
  • Ability to derive a conclusion from incomplete and/or conflicting data
  • Independent, self-starter that can seamlessly integrate into various teams and committees.

  • Strong executional skills with the ability to meet deadlines and maintain commitment to details and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Works well under pressure while maintaining strong organizational, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to analyze issues in order to make recommendations and lead action plans.
