Business Consultant

What you will be doing

Your role will be to help our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. It includes analyzing, designing, and developing strategies and solutions and contributing to client satisfaction.

You will:

  • Identify and frame key issues, analyze data, make solid recommendations and follow up their implementation at the client
  • Manage projects by maintaining accurate and timely project reporting, ensuring high-quality deliverables and overseeing the work of the project team
  • Cultivate successful client relationships

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Coordinate fieldwork by developing project plans, defining consulting tasks, scheduling and preparing for workshops and interviews
  • Conduct interviews with the client to gain an understanding of client business conditions
  • Liaise with client to gather all necessary documentation and data
  • Lead analysis and project deliverables
  • Identify, develop and document key issues and provide recommendations to clients with ample justification and practical advice
  • Develop detailed plans to drive changes and assist the client in implementing it
  • Provide guidance to the client for any occurring problems and issues
  • Ensure project reporting, and anticipate and communicate project risks
  • Coordinate, direct and oversee work done by the project team (consultants and analysts)
  • Establish effective working relationships directly with clients and manage it to completion of the project
  • Ensure that Yever’s brand and work maintain the highest standards of quality and ethical conduct throughout all projects
  • Identify new or additional revenue opportunities with current clients
  • Contribute to proposal submissions and business development initiatives under the direction of your management
  • Contribute to your own development and that of the team by keeping up to date with business and economic issues

What we are expecting from you

You should hold a Bachelor's degree and have at least three years of previous experience in a consulting firm or project management position in a related sector.

  • Ability to respect and appreciate different personality styles, thinking, backgrounds, and cultures
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in oral and written English

Important:

  • Ability to think globally and discuss multiple aspects and impacts of issues
  • Ability and confidence to persuade others and sell your ideas and services
  • Ability to deal with new challenges in unfamiliar disciplines
  • Ability to manage staff, including mentoring and developing junior levels
  • Myanmar native speaker

Good to have:

  • Degree in Business, Management, or related field
  • Proven experience as a consultant or equivalent
  • Familiarity with a wide selection of business management software (CRM, ERP, etc.) and databases
