Solar Analytics is an Australian green-tech company that provides performance monitoring and fault diagnosis for rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) energy systems. Founded in 2011 by a team of passionate, world leading solar experts, Solar Analytics has developed a cloud-based data and analytics platform for local energy production and consumption.

Unlike standard monitoring, Solar Analytics analyses energy generation, local weather conditions and on-site energy consumption data to provide real-time insights and accurate alerts into PV system performance and energy use. Their goal is to maximise the value customers receive from their solar energy system.

In the last twelve months Solar Analytics customer numbers have grown tenfold. Their team of twenty plus staff now delivers services in monitoring and smart analytics to over four thousand customers across Australia. Solar Analytics is on a rapid growth path to become the industry’s leading solar monitoring provider.

As a start up, we felt we had a unique opportunity to begin with a clean slate, without any of the corporate hangovers of a large faceless business. We had a green product, but we also wanted to ensure our whole business was ethical, sustainable and governed by sound community principles, now and into the future.
